Washington D.C

White Jacket Ceremony

Starting off the week, the Heavenly USA Team held their oath ceremony and each of the new members declared a personal pledge in front of God, who we claim as our Heavenly Parent, and to Reverend Sun Myung Moon & Hak Ja Han Moon, who we claim as our True Parents. This was an oath to dedicate themselves to this year of mission. It was a beautiful ceremony as each member received their signature white suits and HUSA pins.

Since we are here in D.C, we wanted to spend time with the nation’s Capitol, and HUSA is diving into all their activities with the theme of “America is God’s Hope.” Visiting The Capitol is not just a tour; it’s an immersive learning experience that deepens your understanding of the nation’s governance, history and civic responsibilities. As HUSA, we needed to learn more about our Nation and what we can do to contribute and give Hope to the people.

The Capitol

We’ve also been spending some time touring around the Washington Times, supporting UPF (Universal Peace Federation) in visiting churches, and exploring the Museum of the Bible and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. As we are visiting all these kinds of places, we are Going deeper into God’s Heart for America and are constantly learning more about our country’s history and True Parents’ achievements and investments into this land
