Day 9: Barbeque and Exploring!

Hello friends!

Today was a peaceful day for the Heavenly USA missionaries. To celebrate the end of our pilgrimage, we had a barbecue at Independence Park with members of the community here in Jerusalem. It was an enjoyable time for everyone with singing, playing sports, fellowship, and spending time with the kids. We are grateful for all the support we received from this community, including planning our pilgrimage of the past eight days.

Afterwards, we had a chance to explore the area around our lodging. Although everything was closed because of Shabbat, exploring the streets of Jerusalem for one of the last times was very enjoyable. To conclude the night, we had some time to prepare a dance and song for some special performances the following day. We look forward to the last full day we have in Israel tomorrow!
