Atlanta, GA

The other half of the Heavenly USA embark their journey to Atlanta, Georgia! They are starting to put action into their ideas.

To kickoff, they met up with pastors Diane & Ilya Hack from Atlanta Family Church, and share what their hopes and plans are for their time here in Atlanta.

HUSA members got the opportunity to have a special lunch with Reverend Demian Dunkley, who is the Regional Chairman and National President for the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, as well as Reverend Mark Abernathy and other local pastors. They talked about a greater vision for not only Heavenly USA but GPA as a whole (Generation Peace Academy). Ultimately, HUSA is trying to align with Rev. Dunkley’s hope and they have been brainstorming how they can create a bigger and more substantial impact through their program.

Later on, HUSA members have been supporting their community through supporting their activities such as a young adult gathering, a thanksgiving drive, and a future Divine Principle workshop. They have concluded an art and dance workshop for the young people, similar to the classic choir and dance workshops they hold. The members themselves taught the art activities and putting their skills to use in teaching sharpie art, macrame, and general arts and crafts.

The members performed during a concert at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and got to spend time with the pastor Bishop William Sheals and were able to fellowship with and gift a Mother of Peace book to the choir of a local Korean Church. This team also dedicated a lot of time to campus witnessing because the will be ending their pioneering with a Divine Principle Workshop. Heavenly USA was blessed with many opportunities and experiences this month and is excited to end their pioneering time strong!
